“MAGISTRATE KIPRONO” THE IMPOSTER CHARGED AND FREED

Appearing before Nairobi’s Chief Magistrate

Abdul Lorot at Kibera Law Court, the accused

Victor Kiprono Ngeno pleaded not guilty to two

counts of impersonating a public officer

contrary to section 105 (b) of the penal code

and making a document without authority

contrary to section 357 (a) of the penal code.

It is alleged that on unknown date within the

Republic of Kenya with an intend to deceive and

without lawful authority or excuse made a law

Society of Kenya Magistrate ID card purporting

it to be a genuine Job Card issued by LSK.

I a separate count the youthful Kiprono falsely

presented himself to be a person employed by

public service as a Magistrate and hired a

vehicle Toyota Prado from a motor car dealer

within Kilimani Area Nairobi County.

The State prosecution did not object to the

accused being released on bond, the State also

informed the duty Court that four witnesses has

been lined up to testify against the accused

during the trial.

Chief Magistrate Abdul Lorot released Victor

Kiprono Ngeno on a lenient bond of 0.3 million

surety of the same or a cash bail of 0.1 million

Kenya shillings pending trial.
