BLOW TO MANDERA GOVERNOR AS HIGH COURT QUASH HIS HIDDEN AMBITION

The Mandera County Kenya Governor Ali Roba

Ambitious alleged hidden plan of creating a

municipality without following the laid down

process has been embarrassedly grounded by

the High Court.

The High Court issued a conservatory orders as

prayed for through an application filed by three

petitioners stopping the creation of Elwak

Municipality Town on grounds that the process

was breached.

Garissa County High Court Judge, Justice

Charles Kariuki issued a conservatory orders

requested through the applicant lead Officer of

the Court Bryan Khaemba by giving stay of the

prayers and suspending the Kenya Gazette

Notice no. 3540 of May 5, 2020 issued by

Mandera County government, pending hearing

and determination of the application filed by

petitioners.

It was Joy for the Mandera County Residents

after the vacancies alleged to have been

announced by the County Government in Elwak

municipality contained in the advertisement

dated May 30, 2020 by Mandera County

Kenya public service board also being

suspended by the Respectable High Court

Judge.

The petition was served to four respondents,

the Governor Ali Roba, the Government of

Mandera County, the County Assembly of

Mandera and Mandera County Public Service

Board by three Petitioners Muhumed Hassan

Deisow, Abdi Mahamud Osman and Said Hajir

Sheikh as an urgent matter.
