Globally the deadly infectious disease cholera is mostly known to wipe out the poor and the middle class for failing to observe personal hygiene.

But in Kenya the story is the other way round dating from the year 2018, and it’s more embarrassing when Government employees get admitted yet they need to be in the forefront creating awareness on good health.

Where statistics shows that from last year almost over one thousands people who were attacked and later recovered were mostly from the well to do families.

Not forgetting the attack at a high class hotel owned by an influential politician and at the most expensive hospital in the Country.

As those living in the Sprawling Slums of Kibra, Mukuru, Korokocho and Mathare are shocked that their brothers and sisters in the leafy suburbs might have taken personal hygiene for granted.
