SEX PEST CHARGED AS COURTS GO DIGITAL

Due to the safety of the Kenyan Judiciary

staffers, the Kenyan Courts has suddenly

embraced the digital system to continue

providing services to its client in unclear

system .

Through the Office of the Chief Justice, normal

Judicial services will resume after the State is

satisfied that the deadly Global pandemic is

defeated.

As alleged sex pest in his 30s was on 24th

Tuesday March 2020 at 10.47 am East Africa

Time in an open Court at Milimani Nairobi

presided by Senior Principal Magistrate

Kennedy Cheruyiot charged with indecent act

with a child.

Peter Magara Okemwa was accused of using

his hand to touch the breast of a thirteen year

old female girl.

The alleged ugly offence was committed at

Kasarani residential Nairobi County, on

Saturday 21st March 2020.

The State prosecution are yet to gather more

evidence, and the accused has not been

informed how many witnesses the State intend

to bond.

And even in the Charge sheet, for the first time

the witness list was missing, as Senior

Magistrate issued an order for the accused to

be examined medically after being charged

contrary to the procedure.

Peter pleaded not guilty to one count of

indecent act and was freed on a hash condition

of two million bond surety of the same amount

or cash bail of one million Kenya shillings.

The accused was remanded at Kasarani Police

Station Nairobi until the lockdown in all Kenyan

prisons will be lifted due to the deadly

Coronavirus.
