HIGH COURT SUSPENDS ALL FLIGHTS FROM CHINA

The High Court of Kenya has suspended all non

essential flights from and to China.

The order was issued at 13.19 pm East Africa

Time by Justice James Makau.

Law Society of Kenya, Dr. Joseph Mithika

Mwenda Mzalendo and Dr. Thiakunu Cyprian

Mwirabua filled a petition seeking the suspicion

of the flights from China.

The court directed the petitioners to serve the

respondents today and the response to be filled

by second March 2020.

Parties to appear before the court on 3rd March

2020.

The Court also asked the government to

quarantine the 239 passengers who had

boarded the Chinese flight in a military facility.
