FAKE PROCUREMENT MANAGER ARRESTED AND CHARGED

Appearing before Nairobi’s Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku at Milimani lower Criminal court.

The accused Paul Mwangi Warutere pleaded not guilty to four counts where he was released on a hefty bond.

Paul was charged on Monday 30th December 2019 at 9.30am East Africa Time, with Conspiracy to defraud, obtaining money by false pretence and issuing a bad cheque.

Representing himself to innocent business lady as a Procurement manager for Moi Sports Complex Kasarani Nairobi County.

The accused purportedly lied to Jane Wanjiru Kabururi that he was in a position to incorporate her in a tender to refurbish the Country biggest sports arena Kasarani.

In two separate charges the accused also issued a bouncing cheques to the complainant worth over 0.9 million Kenya shillings.

And also allegedly obtained over thirteen million Kenya shillings from the said business lady promising to offer her a tender for the refurbishment of the said Sports Complex.

A fact the accused knew was false, he was arrested on 28th Saturday of December 2019 without a warrant of arrest and arraigned before Court, charged freed pending trial.
