It was a week of joy, sadness and surprises as the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson stamped his authority with a Brexit win over election, while US President Trump described his impeachment as end year joke and in Kenya Governor Waititu also impeached.
Both the Senate Assembly’s in Kenya and US are waiting for the scrutiny of the impeached Kenyan Governor and the US President as in London, Queen Elizabeth while addressing the house of commons outlined her Government Agenda into details.
In the US the Republicans controls the Senate as the US Speaker intentionally delayed presentation of the impeachment report before it, fixing all the loopholes and to certify that the impeachment process was fair.
In Kenya Kiambu County Governor Ferdinand Waititu is the third elected Governor to be impeached same to the US President Donald Trump who tops the list as the third US President to be impeached.
The US Stocks kept rising to records despite the fact that impeachment process of President of the Powerful Nation Globally was in process .
The Kenyan Senate Speaker has no option but to recall the Senators to probe the impeachment of embattled Governor who was recently charged before Anti Corruption Court with various serious counts and probe the process, certify or maintain the status.
As in London the defeated Opposition the Labour Party ate humble pie and through its leadership, had to apologies to the entire supporters of the party after losing a snap election, where the Prime Minister Boris Johnson won by a landslide bagging majority of Law Makers to chart the way Brexit exit without struggle.
The impeachment of US President has been received differently with majority of Citizens celebrating and others terming the process as the most unfair process in the history of America.
With the Russian President also siding with Republicans by stressing that the process was politically motivated, the US House Speaker described her President Donald Trump as Rouge Leader.
In Kenya Kiambu County Governor Waititu supporters described the impeachment process as unfair, sham and a rigged process, they further claimed that the 2/3 third required number was inflated since close to 28 members of the County Assembly failed to vote with only 63 members sending Governor Waititu parking.
While in the Capital City of Kenya Governor Mike Sonko has been filing petitions, first it was to bar the Nairobi County Assembly Speaker Beatrice Elachi from assuming the powers and now the Governor who believed to be sick and under medication has filed an application to bar three Judges from hearing his cases on grounds that they are bias.
