TWO PASTORS GOES TO COURT TO STOP PRESIDENT MOI BURIAL

Two “Akorino” pastors attempted to file a one page petition of four hundred words seeking the Court to stop the burial of former President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi.

The petitioners who unsuccessfully failed to file their petition since the procedure of filing applications was breached seeks the Former Head of State to be buried at Hero’s corner within Nairobi County.

The two Pastor’s Wilson Muthendu wa Maina OTC (right) and Joel Mbugua shuttled within Milimani Law Courts corridors seeking for help on the procedure to file their one page application.

After being advised by the Court registry that their application needed more adjustments, the two opted to address members of the fourth estate on their intended mission.

The former head of State who died after a long struggle at Nairobi Hospital will be buried at his home Kabarak.

Pastor Wa Maina and Mbugua in their prayers argue that the former head of State was a man of the people and he loved Children therefore he should be buried in a public place .

And in the program released to the public through the organisers and family, they fear that not all Kenyans will get a chance to view the body and even visit the burial site the same way Kenyans are able to visit where the founding father Mzee Jomo rest.

They also prayed for school children from various schools in the Country to be allowed to attend the burial and be part since Mzee Moi loved children and even decided to introduce milk in all Public schools Nationally.
