THE TRIAL OF A TERROR SUSPECT WITH A MISSION TO BLOW UP THREE CHURCHES IN NAIROBI BEGINS IN MARCH

The defence in application submitted before the trial Court at Milimani Nairobi County Kenya, notified the Court that the accused intended to file application in two weeks , objecting to the State producing the accused recorded confession.

Through his Officer of the Court, 20 years old Trevor Nyaga aka Idris Jamal also admitted before the trial court that he has been served with all materials by the State Prosecution to enable him defend himself.

The youthful accused was arraigned before Nairobi’s Senior Magistrate Caroline Muthoni Nzibe in early December 2019 , where the State prayers in seeking more days to complete their preliminary investigations was granted, on allegations that, the Youthful man from Embu County was planning to bring down three Churches within Nairobi Eastlands, whereby he was later charged with one count of being in possession of terrorism materials .

The trial of the case is scheduled to begin in early March 2020 before Senior Magistrate Caroline Muthoni Nzibe at Milimani Law Court 9.30am East Africa Time.
