TIME FOR KENYA TO PARTIALLY OPEN AND SAVE THE COLLAPSING ECONOMY IS NOW

With the daily increase of numbers of Kenyan

Citizens infected and affected by the

coronavirus pandemic should not stop the

Country from braving and reopening by strictly

adhering to health guidelines in order to

salvage the collapsing economy and the

starving great Citizens .

The Country leadership with speed should

adopt measures to ensure that the citizens

adherence to the health measures guidelines is

observed as reopening proceeds in a bid to help

the suffering citizens and salvage the

collapsing economy.

As several States Globally putting measures

while they partially reopen several businesses

through stabilization by saving their lives and

restoring their economy.

In Germany several activities are ongoing

including the favorites sports, as the popular

football became the first being allowed to

proceed over the weekend in an empty stadia in

line with the strict health measures.

While in Kenya, the Government has laid down

framework for Students especially KCSE and

KCPE candidates to resume learning under

strict health measures to be observed in early

June and with restaurants to resume business .

The World Health Organisation recently in their

daily briefings Globally, reminded the World that

the pandemic is here to stay with us, unless we

adopt measures to contain it or be wiped out.

Globally several States has reopened to save

their collapsing economies, by initiating

measures as washing hands frequently,

disinfect frequently used items surfaces as

much as possible, social distancing,

sanitization and wearing of masks in public

areas.

And the vulnerable people, like the elderly and

individuals with signs underlying health

conditions including high blood pressure,

chronic lungs diseases, diabetes, obesity and

asthma to stay at home.

In Kenya several companies or work places

were closed and Citizens sent home without

pay and with no frame work of back to work by

the Kenyan Government putting in place,

creating an avenues of temptations among the

Citizens.

In the UK, USA and other developed like China,

South Korea and Japan nations despite the rise

in infections, their Governments has deployed

measures of resuming the normal life with

strict health measures to protect and contain

the coronavirus pandemic.
