Mbache will get a chance to reunite with his
Son after the completion of three year jail
term, when the son will be attending baby class
studies.
Nairobi’s Chief Magistrate Joyce Gandani
sentenced the accused to three years
imprisonment after his own guilt of owning to
the offence of stealing from his boss a
diplomat, the Zambian High Commission.
The convict Brian Libasia Mbache in his 30s a
private security Officer with Lavington security
firm, having worked for eleven years with the
firm and was trusted to guard the Zambian
diplomat residential at kileleshwa Nairobi
County but abused the great opportunity by
stealing house hold goods worth over 1.2
million kenya shillings pleaded guilty.
He was arrested on 03rd August the year 2020
by Director of Criminal Investigations
Detectives Kevin Kisasati and Charles Atika
both based at Kilimani Police Station Nairobi
County, after a complaint was reported over
alleged Brian unprofessional conduct, where on
07th August the same year the duty Court
granted Detective Kevin Kisasati more days to
complete his preliminary investigation through
a brief application submitted before Nairobi’s
Chief Magistrate Joyce Gandani detaining a
Lavingtone security guard over allegations of
stealing at the home of the Zambian High
Commission.

Mbache after the completion of the
investigations was arraigned before Court and
charged with one count of stealing, contrary to
section 268 (1) as read with section 275 of the
penal code and pleaded guilty to the serious
criminal offence that attracts hash penalty.
The Court directed the convict to appear before
it on 14th August same year for mitigation and
sentencing where he was sentenced to a three
year jail term without an option of fine.

Kilimani Nairobi said that, he went to his house
and found that the house has been broken and
several properties stolen from the home.
Lavington Private Security Officer was assigned
the exclusive duty admired by several private
Officers to guard the premise and was arrested
on 03rd August at the sprawling slum of Kibera
Nairobi by Director of Criminal Investigation
Detectives
It was on 23rd of June the year 2020 at the
Zambian High Commission residence along
Riverside drive Kileleshwa in Nairobi where the
Convict stole five seater sofa set, one office
table, three carpets, one LG Refrigerator, oven,
stove, assorted shoes, bed sheets, a curtains,
study table, TV stand, utensils, Safaricom WiFi,
lenovo laptop, toaster sandwich and books all
worth 1,239,550 kenya shillings the property of
Zambian High Commission.
The accused during plea taking owned up to his
serious criminal offence that he stole the said
house hold goods in the house of the Zambian
high commissioner to Kenya and led detectives
to his house in the sprawling slum of Kibera
upon searching the house, the DCI Detectives
Kevin Kisasati and Charles Atika recovered LG
fridge , coffee table , laptop, shoes , carpets
among other said stolen house hold goods
worth over one million kenya shillings.
