THE COMBATIVE KENYA NATIONAL UNION OF TEACHERS SG WILSON SOSSION IS NOT A TEACHER

Kenya Teachers code of conduct section 16, states that a Teacher public servant must maintain neutrality at all times.

Wilson Sossion lost appeal against his employer Teachers Service Commission after his teaching services were terminated.

Employment and labour Relation Court in Kenya, upheld the decision of Teachers employer TSC after sacking Sossion through a letter in 2018.

The situation leaves the giant Teachers umbrella body in Kenya no options but to strategize on finding a new Secretary General.

The act code of conduct further states that , Teachers shall not act in a manner that may compromise his or her neutrality.

Sossion accepting Members of Parliament nomination slot offered by the Largest political party in Kenya ODM, compromised his conduct, profession by virtue of being a public servant which prohibits the political party gesture .

The combative former public servant Wilson Sossion has been blocked technically and legally from representing Teacher issues in any forums National and Internationally .

Sossion is now a total stranger at Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) after being deregistered by his employer TSC in January 15th 2018.

The genesis of Wilson Sossion’s predicaments began the moment he was nominated by Orange Democratic Party (ODM) as a law Maker.

Public servants must separate personal interest, being partisan and maintaining neutrality in line with the public officer’s ethics, which Sossion intentionally violated as claimed by TSC.

Only registered Teachers are allowed to vie for any positions in Teachers Unions Nationally , Sossion is now officially a stranger to any Teachers unions.

His outspoken brother at Kuppet Omboko Milema , the Chairman of Kuppet another Teachers union in Kenya was also deregistered by TSC.

The employment and labour Relation Court in Kenya was guided by public officers ethics act and code of conduct while upholding the decision of TSC to deregister the unions representatives.

Kenya National Union of Teachers has faced several issues, from it’s members being poached by newly registered Female Teachers Union Nationally to internal rebellion by Schools Headteachers Countrywide.
