ODINGA OCHIENG SUSPECTED OF KILLING A RESIDENT OF KIBRA

The State Prosecution’s application to detain the respondent for more days to be able to complete investigations was successfully granted by the duty Court.

In there several prayers in application submitted before Court, the State want Jack Odinga Ochieng be detained at Kilimani Police Station Nairobi County to allow for more investigation.

The Court was informed that the dead body of a Kamba Male Adult was found lying at PCEA Silanga Kibra Nairobi County.

And further investigations by the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) at the scene of crime lead them to arrest the Odinga Ochieng as the prime suspect in the brutal murder.

The dead body of Mwandikwa Kimwele was found to be having scars inflicted by blunt objects.

The Court was also informed through affidavit filed before it that the residents positively identified the respondent as behind the brutal murder.

Nairobi’s Senior Principal Magistrate Kennedy Cheruiyot issued orders for the respondent be detained for a period of two Weeks for investigation be completed.

The dead body of the Kamba Male Adult was found lying at Silanga Kibra on Sunday 24th November 2019 and the suspect Odinga Ochieng was arrested from his hideout on early morning of Monday 25th November 2019.

The Director of Criminal Investigations moved the dead body to City Mortuary after processing the scene of crime.

If found guilty Jack Odinga Ochieng faces death the maximum penalty of premeditated murder.
