KENYANS PREFER LEARNING THE HARD WAY

By Chris Ojow

Kenya remain the only State within the entire

African Continent where adhering to simple

rules and applying commonsense must be

enforced forcefully by the law enforcement

units.

Under traffic laws of the Republic of Kenya it is

an offence for anyone to cross a busy highway

when pedestrian flyovers are in place.

Within the Capital City of Kenya, pedestrians

flyovers have been strategically placed to assist

pedestrians to avoid being knocked by speeding

motorists.

On Monday 10th August 2020 at 15.37 pm East

African Time along Valley Road Nairobi County,

a male pedestrian in his 30s decided to cross

the road without keenly taking into account on

the speedily moving motor vehicles and ended

up being knocked by a motorcyclist.

The traffic police officers who were one hundred

meters away from the scene called for medical

assistance to save the life of a wreck less

pedestrian.

Time for Kenyans to instill self discipline and be

law abiding Citizens of a beautiful State is now,

more with the coronavirus pandemic which has

changed the lifestyle of many Globally.
