KENYAN MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT TO REFUND ILLEGALLY SELF AWARDED HOUSE ALLOWANCE TOTALLING TO 1.194 BILLIONS

A deadly criminal offence was allegedly committed by the National Assembly Representatives of Kenya, where the Kenyan Government Treasury was illegally defrauded over 1.194 billions Kenya shillings.

Through unlawful and illegal decisions by Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) Kenyan Members of Parliament each pocketed a cool monthly illegal house allowance unlawfully authorised by PSC.

Contrary to the Constitution of the Republic of Kenya, where Salary Remuneration Commission (SRC) are mandated by the Constitution to over see and reward any allowance to State Officers in line with the SRC act.

Due to the loss of huge amount of money by Kenyan Government through a fraudulent unlawful decision, the SRC has filed a petition before a Constitutional Court , the High Court in a bid to recover alleged stolen Public funds.

Through Peter Wanyama an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya directed by Manyonge, Wanyama and Associates, the Petitioner SRC in it’s several prayers is seeking the High Court to issue stay stopping any further unlawful payments of any allowances to MPs.

Lawyer Peter Wanyama on behalf of his client seeks Conservatory orders compelling Members of Parliament to refund the illegally acquired Public money from their salaries.

The applicant wants the Constitutional Court to order the clerk of the National assembly to speedily recover the money from monthly salaries of the National Assembly Representatives.

The application which is certified as urgent by the applicant SRC was served to thirteen respondents and three interested parties.

As a matter of alleged infringement of provisions of several Articles of the Constitution of Kenya, the Constitutional Petition number 208 of 2019 was received on Friday 31st May 2019 noon at the Constitutional human rights division.

In there oral response against Petition filed at the Constitutional Court through Homa Bay Women Rep Gladys Wanga, the Members of Parliament aggressively vowed to fight back the SRC intended lethal move of deducting their monthly pay.

They questioned the SRC bid to recover an illegal awards of allowance as witch hunt driven by malice and improper mechanisms.

Gladys Wanga reacted to SRC move as a plot to render Members of the National Assembly of Kenya financially disabled.
