The Man who assisted to build Safaricom

shareholders value to a whooping over one

trillion Kenya shillings has been elevated to the

position of Chief Financial Officer at Vodafone

Business.

The Giant Telecommunication in Kenya

Safaricom Chief Finance Officer Sateesh

Kamath will now become a member of

Vodafone Group Finance Leadership Team on

01st of July the 2020.

With four years working experience at the giant

telecommunications in Kenya Safaricom,

Sateesh Kamath, played a major role in

completion of acquisition of Mpesa joint

venture from Vodafone and purchase of critical

spectrum while ensuring efficient use of

Safaricom resources.

Sateesh also assumed responsibilities in

navigating Safaricom while the Former Boss,

the late Bob Collymore was on medical leave

and also through successful transition of the

top management.

His legacy as a reputable outstanding finance

expert in the Country, multi-tasking as a leader

and mentor is unrivaled.

He joined Safaricom from Vodafone Tanzania

on 01st August the year 2016 as Executive

Director and Chief Financial Officer.

The giant telecommunications company

Safaricom Chief Executive Officer Peter

Ndegwa will soon announce the replacement of

Sateesh Kamath former position.

As the Chief Executive officer Ndegwa

repeatedly informed the subscribers and the

shareholders that the company is planning to

open more doors at our Neighbours in the

Northern part of the Country Ethiopia with over

100 million population.
