As Nations Globally claims to be searching for
the cure for the deadly coronavirus pandemic
and with World Health Organisation
disapproving others with their alleged found
cure, in Kenya the Citizens has surrendered
themselves to their maker for protection or
decide their fate.
Knowing very well that the Kenyan Health
System is not well equipped to handle
coronavirus victims in thousands and with our
Culture of greed, blame game and not being
honest to what we say when it comes to
implementing, it’s only God who gave us this
precious time and life to decide on our fate.
During the recent National Celebrations at
the Country State House, the Head of State
hinted that, he will partially loosen the
lockdown to enable suffering Kenyans regain a
bit.
What the Country experienced after the
announcement from the head of State giving
hopes of life resumption, the daily briefing by
the Health Ministry docket on coronavirus shot
up and the surging numbers scared the Nation,
dashing Citizens hopes of back to normal life
as we observe health guidelines, knowing very
well that the pandemic will never fade away so
soon but is here to live with us for long, only
God knows.
In solidarity with all the affected people Globally
by the coronavirus pandemic, an Interfaith
Prayer by Religious leaders are preparing to
offer an interfaith prayer for all those affected
by the Covid-19 pandemic.
To be Broadcasted from Birmingham,
Coimbatore, Geneva, Latacunga, Nairobi, New
Delhi, New York, Panama City, and Tokyo, they
will lift a message of healing, hope, protection
of children victims of violence, and pray for an
early end of the pandemic.
The hour-long prayer is being organized by
Arigatou International and it’s Global Network
of Religions for Children (GNRC), in
collaboration with Bahá’í International
Community, Centre for Sustainable Conflict
Resolution (CSCR), International Network of
Engaged Buddhists (INEB), Interfaith Alliance
for Safer Communities, Islamic Relief, KAICIID,
New York Board of Rabbis, Pastoral da Criança,
Sarvodaya Shramadana, Shanti Ashram, and
United Religions Initiative.
And restrictions of gathering being outlawed by
by almost all States Worldwide, the Interfaith
Prayer will be conducted live-streamed via
Facebook and YouTube.
When pushed to the wall, it’s only the maker
that can overturn the challenges and bring back
life into normal.
The Interfaith Prayer is being organized in the
framework of Faith in Action for Children, a
Global Campaign developed by Arigatou
International and its initiatives to support
religious communities, parents, caregivers and
teachers around the world to work for the
physical and spiritual wellbeing of children
during the Covid-19 pandemic.
