As the High Court at Milimani Nairobi County Kenya dismissed the Anticipatory application filed by four KRA suspects.
Urging the Court to issue orders exempting them from arrest and Prosecution.
A group of 38 suspects who were taken into police custody for two weeks also filed an application before High Court seeking a reduction of two weeks custodial to one week.
Mean while another fresh 18 KRA suspects were arraigned again in Court at Milimani Nairobi County Kenya on Wednesday 16th May 2019 at 12.43 noon.
With the State Prosecution submitting an application before court seeking more days to detain them for further investigations.
State Chief Prosecutor Dancan Ondimo want forensic to be done on the suspects communication gadgets and laptops backdating to 2017.
In total the number of Suspects alleged to have engaged in malpractice at the Country revenue collection centre is now 56 in numbers.
They will face several counts of charges upon completion of the preliminary investigations.
Kenya Revenue Authority KRA has been dodged with allegations of Corruption’s within, with several businesses and investors failing to pay taxes.
Resulting into the Country Kenya opting for borrowing overseas to be able to meet it’s goals.
Within Country high wage bill of over seven hundred billion on being consumed on salaries.
KRA has been unable to collect even over two trillion Kenya shillings and left over burdened with Debt’s.
