GATUNDU SOUTH MP INCITEMENT TRIAL ADJOURNED

While attending jubilee party campaign rally during the last General election, Gatundu South Legislator Moses Kuria uttered unprinted words in vernacular that landed him in trouble.

While in the middle of a charged political rally in Kiambu County Kuria is alleged to have uttered “wembe ni ule ule wa kunyoa Raila tano na kutahiri Ida”

The abusive words were uttered to electrify the crowd, Kenyan style of politics to woe votes, the language and the meaning of insults was very offensive, unjustified and an act of Incitement as alleged by the State.

It is alleged that in early September during the last disputed General election campaigns and in a charged political rally held within Kiambu County Kenya, the MP uttered unprinted words.

Directed specifically to NASA Presidential Candidate, Legislator Moses Kuria was arrested and taken into police custody at Pangani Police station Nairobi County.

Dubbed as the Pangani six he was later charged with Incitement to violence and freed on bond with tough conditions.

Gatundu South elected National Assembly Representative appeared before Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi, for defence submission.
