FORMER GOVERNOR KIDERO AND OTHERS REMANDED IN POLICE CUSTODY

FORMER GOVERNOR NAIROBI COUNTY KENYA EVANS ODHIAMBO KIDERO AND HIS CO ACCUSED ARE STATE GUESTS

The lengthy submissions by both the defence and the State prosecution denied Kidero early freedom, since the trial Magistrate must take his time through research and deliver the ruling

The State through Alexander Muteti earlier opposed the release of the accused on bond with the defence dismissing the State application on grounds that bond is a right and not a favour.

Evans Odhiambo Kidero together with other accused were arraigned before Anti Corruption court Chief Magistrate Douglas Ogoti at Milimani Law Court Nairobi County Kenya on Monday 29th April 2019 at 12.35 noon East Africa Time.

Where they pleaded not guilty to to several counts abuse of office charges.

The accused who were arrested on 26th Friday April 2019 early morning were remanded at Kilimani Police station Nairobi County Kenya. By Chris Ojow
