2034 YEAR TWO KENYA SEVENS RUGBY PLAYERS WILL LEAVE PRISON

Nairobi’s Milimani Law Courts Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku sentenced two rugby players to 15 years each

The mandatory Sexual offences act is life or a minimum of fifteen years.

Mutuku while delivering the sentence stressed, that the accused were remorseful and the Court gave a lenient sentence of 15 years.

Two Kenya Sevens Rugby football players were found guilty of gang rape during the trial.

Frank Wanyama (left ) and Alex Olaba (right ) will leave Kamiti Maximum Prison when they are 38 years old.

The two accused who are single with no children were charged early 2018.

And pleaded not guilty to two counts of rape and indecent assault.

Future of High flying first team Kenya Sevens Rugby football players is now uncertain.
